ROUND ROCK, Texas — One person from Round Rock is now $7.5 million richer after buying a winning Texas Lottery Loteria Supreme scratch-off ticket.

The winner told the Texas Lottery that they bought the ticket on a whim at the Paloma Lane Market on County Road 110. They plan to use that money to travel the country.

“I walked over to the gas station to pick up a few things and decided to get a scratch ticket,” said the winner, who chose to stay anonymous. “I waited until I was home to scratch off the ticket and then I saw the numbers and realized I’d won. The rest of the day was a blur after that, but the next day it sunk in. It’s kind of a miracle knowing I’ll have no worries from now on. I’m looking forward to traveling across the U.S. and seeing more of the country.”

This was the third of four top prizes worth $7.5 million to be claimed in this game. According to the Texas Lottery, Loteria Supreme offers more than $709.9 million in total prizes.

The overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.23, including break-even prizes.
