BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – With decades of service inside its walls, the Dairy Queen of Bluefield Avenue will not be serving its sweet treats to customers this year.
A notice posted on the store window encourages customers to visit the franchise’s other locations on Cumberland Road and in the City of Princeton
The Bluefield Ave. location has been a source of nostalgia for many in the area as it allows customers to walk up and place their orders. Unlike other locations it only offered service during the warmer months.
No reason has been shared yet for the location not opening for this year’s season.
