Greg Taylor is calling it quits at Celtic Park – but can you see Jeffrey Schlupp hanging about to fight with Kieran Tierney for a starting slot next season?
KEITH JACKSON: Absolutely. Schlupp has been a very good addition to the squad and will be thriving on this late chance to add some silverware to his collection. He’s versatile too so Brendan Rodgers will want to keep him around even if Tierney is first choice left back.
ANDY NEWPORT: Schlupp has been a fine addition at Parkhead this season but I’m not sure he’ll fancy acting as understudy to Tierney, even if the returning Hoops hero’s injury record means he’ll likely get plenty of minutes.

MICHAEL GANNON: It’s unlikely at this stage. Schlupp will have a lot of options and it might be a stretch for Celtic paying top money in wages for two left backs.
ALAN GALINDO: It is a no-brainer for him to stay if Brendan Rodgers wants to keep him around. He’s 32 now and would be regularly fighting for trophies and playing Champions League football.
Cyriel Dessers was Rangers last action hero at Dens Park as he snatched the winner at the 10th attempt – but should the Ibrox enigma have a major role to play next season?
KEITH: His conversion rate is a great deal lower than it ought to be but, even so, Dessers has become a major contributor to this Rangers team. It might take funny money to tempt the club into selling and that seems unlikely.
ANDY: Dessers has shown he can score in fits and spurts. As long as they have someone ready to step in when he hits one of his lulls he can still make a big contribution.
MICHAEL: Yes. Rangers need to take the rough with the smooth when it comes to the big man. He’s got goals in him and strikers – even ones who miss a lot – are hard to come by.
ALAN: His goalscoring record isn’t all that bad – although it should be much higher. But what he does is gets in the positions and keeps trying. The big question remains if he is the man that can lead the line to win trophies. But I think he can play a part next year.
It’s neck and neck between Hibs and Aberdeen in the race for third – who do you fancy?
KEITH: Hibs. The momentum has been behind them throughout the second half of the season and they look every inch like the third best team in the top flight.
ANDY: Aberdeen are rediscovering the winning know-how but there’s a special buzz brewing at Easter Road with club hero David Gray in charge.

MICHAEL: Aberdeen have found form again and might have just enough to hold off Hibs.
ALAN: Hibs are bang in form at the right time and momentum is a huge thing. I think it will go close but it will be all Sunshine in Leith come the end of matchday 38.
St Mirren clobbered Kilmarnock to move to within a point of sixth place with two games to go before the split – can the Buddies complete a hat-trick of top-half finishes?
KEITH: It might be too much of an ask this season. For once the top six appears to be more like the natural order with the ‘big’ clubs finally punching their weight all at the same time.
ANDY: Hearts have a point advantage and superior goal difference but Dundee United and Motherwell are tricky tests for Neil Critchley’s men. Saints are up against struggling Dundee and Ross County and will fancy their chances of pushing the Jambos all the way.
MICHAEL: They are in with a shout. Saints have a couple of decent fixtures but it will all be down to how Hearts cope. The Jambos should just sneak in.
ALAN: You can never write St Mirren off. And they will be looking at Dundee and Ross County as games they can take maximum points. The top six chase is going to the wire and the Buddies will be in the mixer until the final kick.
