LURAY, Va. (WHSV) – Shenandoah National Park is alerting the public to a missing man whose coworkers believe he may be hiking the Appalachian Trail.

The missing man, Michael “Deric” Bennet, was last seen Feb. 27 in Centreville, Virginia. He is 42 years old, has brown hair, weighs 190 pounds and is six feet tall. Bennet also has a dragon skeleton tattoo on his back and tribal print tattoos on his shoulders, according to the SNP release.

SNP asks anyone who may have seen Bennet to call park staff at 540-999-3422.
