Dell CEO Michael Dell took the 17th spot with a net worth of $97.7 billion.

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas is home to more than two dozen of world’s top billionaires.

Thirty Texans made Forbes’ list of the 750 wealthiest individuals in the world.

Taking the top spot is Tesla and X CEO Elon Musk. His net worth skyrocketed to $342 billion, doubling from the year before and moving him from the No. 3 spot to surpass Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos.

Other Texans making the list are Dell CEO Michael Dell, who took the 17th spot with a net worth of $97.7 billion; Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, ranked No. 127 with a $16 billion net worth; and H-E-B’s Charles Butt and his family, who ranked No. 230 with a net worth of $10.8 billion.

Other notable Texans on the list include sports mogul Mark Cuban, Walmart heiress Alice Walton and philanthropist Margot Perot.

The collective net worth of the whole list is now $16.1 trillion, up from $2 trillion last year. In the U.S. there are now 902 billionaires, a new record.
