Singer Patti Smith joined other local artists in a protest filled with music and art to save the inspirational Elizabeth Street Garden in Manhattan on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The city plans to bulldoze the historic green space in Little Italy and replace the urban oasis with affordable housing.
