Alexandra Breckenridge, star of Virgin River, has been inundated with support from her 1.3 million followers after sharing a “crazy” moment with her daughter on Instagram.
The actress is currently busy filming the seventh season of Netflix’s popular romantic drama, where she plays Mel Monroe alongside Martin Henderson as Jack Sheridan.
Filming for the seventh season kicked off in Vancouver last month, much to the excitement of millions of fans who are keen to dive back into the non-stop drama of the picturesque hamlet.
In her most recent Instagram post, Breckenridge shared a video tagged with “#bringyourdaughtertoworkday”.
“So, I did a crazy thing over the weekend,” she informed her followers. “And I wrapped at work at like 12:30 on Friday, and I didn’t get to bed until 1 because we were shooting way far out in the middle of nowhere”, reports the Mirror US.
After teasing fans with some insight of some of the scenes she’s been filming for the new season, she went on to share a touching experience with her daughter, Billie.
“[I] woke up at 5, got on a plane, went home, got my daughter,” she continued. “Repacked stuff Sunday, spent time with the family then brought my daughter back with me to Vancouver to film.
“Because I thought, ‘Wow, what a great opportunity to have some girls time’, but I’m working.
“I worked today, just one scene, and I work all day tomorrow. So I was trying to explain to her, like, what 13 pages of dialogue means in terms of, mommy has to do her ‘homework’ for her job,” she chuckled, making air quotes with her fingers.
“And she was looking at me like, ‘You have to remember all that?’ And I was like, ‘I know! It’s crazy! Crazy’.”
Breckenridge is the doting mum to two little ones with her husband Casey Hooper, a musician; their son Jack arrived in the world in 2016, followed by their daughter Billie in 2017.
Despite her LA base and Vancouver stints for Virgin River shoots, this celeb couple chose a rustic life for their brood back in Georgia.
Little Billie got the chance of a lifetime, jetting across North America to see mom in TV action. Fans praised Breckenridge’s juggling act in the comments.
