BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – According to a social media post, the long awaited Golden Ticket Cinemas in Bluefield plans to be showing movies by June.
The “Summer Vacation Movie Series” begins June 7 with $1 for tickets.
The series will play a range of already released movies including Shrek 2 and Paw Patrol the Movie.
The theater has been a work in progress since AMC closed its doors in February of 2023
Golden Ticket was originally set to open in the fall of 2024.
