Luke Littler could make Premier League history in Berlin on Thursday night as the greatest show in darts takes over the German capital.
The Uber Arena is the scene for Night Nine of this year’s thrilling competition as eight of the sport’s biggest names contest 16 mini-events during the season.
Littler has already cemented his place at top of the standings, with an eight-point gap, by routing Luke Humphries in last week’s final.
And a fifth triumph of the season for the 18-year-old trailblazer would make him the first player ever to claim five nightly wins in the same season.
Littler is set to face Chris Dobey again having edged out the Bedlington star on Night Five in Brighton.
Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall kick off Thursday’s proceedings in Berlin, while Humphries will look to bounce back against Rob Cross.
The final fixture sees a clash of characters as Michael van Gerwen faces off against Gerwyn Price.
Ranking points will be awarded per night – with five to the winner, three to the runner-up and two to the semi-finalists – to form the league table from which the top four players will progress to the Play-Offs at The O2 in London on Thursday May 29.
Record Sport takes you through the schedule and matches for action in the Uber Arena in Berlin.
Schedule of Play
Nathan Aspinall v Stephen Bunting – 6.15pm
Stephen Bunting and Nathan Aspinall kick off Thursday’s proceedings. The Liverpudlian arrives in Germany off the back of impressive performances on the ProTour this week. Bunting recorded a tournament average of 103 across his five games at Tuesday’s Players Championship Ten. The former Lakeside Champion is now aiming to open his Premier League account at the ninth time of asking when he takes on Aspinall, who is currently two points adrift of the Play-Off places.
Luke Humphries v Rob Cross – 6.45pm
The pair meet for the first time since their epic contest in Brighton where Humphries landed his first televised nine-darter. He then fell to a 111 average from Cross on the south coast. The world No.1 then fell out of form losing three consecutive quarter-finals.

However, Humphries bounced back last week’s Night Eight final in Newcastle to restore his five-point buffer in second place. Cross meanwhile banked back-to-back wins over Price to move level with the Welshman on 12 points.
Chris Dobey v Luke Littler – 7.15pm
These two have previous history with Littler getting the better of the Bedlington star on Night Five in Brighton. Dobey has found it tough going in the Premier League and he would need a remarkable turnaround in results if he is to challenge for the top four places. Dobey played some fairly competitive darts in the two Players Championship events this week while Littler suffered a shock defeat. However, the Nuke’s Premier League form has been exemplary and is the heavy favourite here.
Michael van Gerwen v Gerwyn Price – 7.45pm
Price ran out an emphatic 6-1 winner in their last Premier League tussle on Night Six, although Van Gerwen responded with a comeback victory on the European Tour in Germany less than a fortnight ago.

The Dutchman overturned a 4-1 deficit and defied a 107 average from Price to triumph in Gottingen, but the Welshman warmed up for this week’s action with victory at Players Championship Nine on Monday.
