PRINCETON, W.Va. – A popular retailer in the region is planning on making a comeback after an announced closure earlier this year.
After closing its doors this past January, the Big Lots store in Princeton will re-open and is now hiring associates.
The company held “going out of business sales” at its remaining stores earlier in the year.
Big Lots was sold to Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, a firm that specializes in distressed companies, which then sold 500 Big Lots stores to Variety Wholesalers.
Variety Wholesalers owns Roses, which is a neighbor to Big Lots in Princeton.
The Big Lots website lists some opening days for its stores; Princeton’s opening date is not listed. The company says it will add more opening dates as they are secured.
