HINTON W.Va. -In the Summers County there was an early Easter celebration for the kids and their parents
The Second annual Easter Extravaganza and Vendo Show was held at the Hinton Historic Freight depot Saturday from 10am until 4pm
Ther kids enjoyed looking for and collecting all the eggs they could find. There were food trucks and lots of vendors inside and outside the depot.
This family friendly event is hosted by two local businesswomen in Summers County.
Cassie Lemon and Christina Rose are the hosts, and they say they just wanted to bring something for the kids with their families to enjoy before the big Easter rush later this month.
Rose added that she hopes the bonus to everyone having fun is she hopes this will be a positive economically for Hinton
“We have several local vendors, and we also have four food trucks as well and they are showcasing their Easter products and their small businesses which helps them, and it helps the economy, and the families can come in and shop. It’s just a fun time for everybody”
Rose also told us that they hope to do this every year. If you would like more information or how to get involved with next year’s event you can contact them on their businesses Facebook pages Cassie Lemon at Sub Zero Treats or Christina Rose at Bake You Happy Sweet Treats
