Two men in their 20s, though, got more than they bargained for at a Wendy’s in the Bronx early Saturday night.
Police responding around 7:24 p.m. to East Fordham Rd. and Marion Ave. in Fordham found a 26-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the chest and back and a 27-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the arm and thigh, cops said.
EMS transported the victims to St. Barnabas Hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
It remained unclear what sparked the shooting inside the fast-food eatery. As of late Saturday night, the gunman was on the loose.
