BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – Asphalt is now available and the City of Bluefield will tackle potholes starting Tuesday.
A post from the city said the Public Works team will start repaving and patching roads, with a lot of streets to cover.
Some will have to be repaved so potholes will not be repaired on those streets.
Details about which roads the department will work on will be released when work begins so residents will be aware.
Extreme weather this winter has worsened the usual pothole problem and the city had been waiting on area asphalt plants to open to get started.
