AUSTIN, Texas — Elon Musk’s Tesla is planning to bring an eco-park to Austin.

According to a report submitted to county economic development officials and first reported by Bloomberg, the park will include a hike-and-bike trail, a Tesla expo and sports complex and 290 acres of waterfront green space.

It would be near the Gigafactory on Tesla Road and follow the path of the Colorado River.

The report says 20,000 households will benefit from the development.

There is no timeline for the park to be completed.
