JACKSON, Mich. (WILX/Gray News) – A trooper found a missing 2-year-old in a ditch along the interstate in Michigan on Saturday.
Michigan State Police said a trooper was requested to help assist the Blackman Township Police Department’s search for a 2-year-old who had been missing for more than an hour and a half.
After 15 minutes on the scene, the trooper picked up a heat signature in a ditch along I-94 and coordinated with officers to locate the missing child.
Michigan State Police said the child was conscious and not injured but was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
