BLUEFIELD, Va. – The Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles were looking for a repeat in the Coppinger championship Saturday, taking on the Christiansburg Blue Demons.
In the end, a lackluster first inning from the Flying Eagles would be their death knell, as Woodrow Wilson falls to Christiansburg.
However, Parker Williams, Maddex Sims and Drew Gallaher were all named to the All-Coppinger tournament team.
Christiansburg’s Rocco Fizzano won the Jeff Boyles award (tournament MVP).
