KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Southbound lanes of the WV Turnpike are shutdown on Monday after a construction worker was hit and killed, West Virginia State Police confirms.

The incident happened near the I-77 toll at mile marker 92.5.

Drivers should expect delays.

Turnpike Police are investigating.
