Ideal Home Show Scotland is not only the country’s biggest and longest-running home interiors and lifestyle show, but also a great day out for all the family (children aged 15 and under even go free).
Taking place at the SEC Glasgow from 23-26 May 2025, this year’s show promises to be bigger and better than ever – but what exactly can you expect?
Here’s a rundown of some of the highlights …
Leading experts

Whether you’re after tips for creating a home with heart that doesn’t cost the earth, insights on how to refresh your kitchen on a budget, or even smart strategies for freeing up more money, Ideal Home Show Scotland’s glittery line-up of big-name experts will be on-hand to show you the way.
This year’s star-studded roster includes: British potter and ceramic designer, Keith Brymer Jones, from BBC2’s The Great Pottery Throw Down; Australian interior designer Banjo Beale, seen on Designing the Hebrides; interior designer Anna Campbell-Jones and architect Danny Campbell, co-hosts of Scotland’s Home of the Year; TV presenter and property expert Laura Hamilton, and Scotland’s renowned money coach and financial inclusion expert, Tynah Matembe.

Cutting-edge design

From the hottest smart tech to the freshest interiors trends, cutting-edge design is at the heart of the show.
So whether you’re after inspiration for your home or garden, high-street bargains or high-end splurging, Ideal Home Show Scotland has you covered.
No matter what you’re looking for, a walk-through of the Dream Home is a must.
Beautifully-curated by a team of top designers, the Dream Home is a truly unique way to immerse yourself in the latest trends for the home and garden.

Best of all, you can leave with more than just a ton of inspiration – all of the items on show are available to buy directly, so you can instantly recreate the look at home.
Foodie delights

Soaking up all this fabulous design inspiration is hungry work (did we mention the show is set across 20,000 square meters?).
Fortunately, all tickets include complimentary entry to the Eat and Drink Festival, so your tummy and taste buds will be well catered for too.

The Eat and Drink Festival is not to be missed, but what exactly can you expect?
Think live demos from Scotland’s hottest foodie talent, a cornucopia of artisan producers, and street food vendors cooking up culinary treats from around the world.
Excitingly, this year for the first time, the Scottish Organic Producers Association and the Guild of Fine Food will be at the show with vendors who have their accredited seal of approval.
Meanwhile, the line-up of foodie stars include: Glasgow’s own Jimmy Lee, seen regularly on ITV’s This Morning; MasterChef 2022 finalist, Sarah Rankin, and Great British Menu 2025 contestant, David Millar.
One thing’s for sure: after a full day experiencing everything the Ideal Home Show Scotland has to offer, you’ll feel inspired.
