If you’re anticipating updates on the iPhone 17, one tech influencer has divulged more thrilling details, including potential new colours for the handset.

The upcoming Apple device is expected to launch in September, stirring speculation about an all-new, slender ‘iPhone Air’ design that’s captured consumers’ attention.

Karl Conrad disclosed “what we know” about the new iPhone – and rumours suggest fans can anticipate a significant redesign.

Devotees of larger iPhone models should prepare to part with the familiar small corner camera, as potential ‘leaked’ samples of the latest version hint at a camera closely resembling that of the Google Pixel across the top of the phone.

Karl unveiled snapshots depicting how the iPhone lineup might appear, showcasing three versions. The conventional iPhone 17 resembled its traditional form.

Then there was the iPhone 17 Air, slated to be the most svelte iPhone model to date at merely 5.5mm thick. And the iPhone 17 Pro is rumoured to be the largest handset among them.

Moreover, it’s predicted to feature a “huge visor across the back”. Speculation varies on this visor – some forecast a “two-tone look” contingent upon the model, while others suggest the visor will uniformly manifest in solid black across each variation.

Yet, Karl’s main excitement currently lies with the prospective colourways for the device. He gushed: “Most importantly for me, from what I’ve seen, we might be getting an orange iPhone. That’s what I’m most pumped about”.

Rumours are swirling that there could also be hints of lilac, pink, and green joining the iPhone’s colour range – though the more vivid hues are typically not offered in the higher-end models, previously referred to as the ‘Pro Max’.

As fans pressure Apple for a fresher array of colours, some can’t help but feel underwhelmed by the supposed new aesthetic of the upcoming iPhone. Scepticism arose when one person queried: “Why are we making phones thinner?”

Another voiced their irritation about the repetitive nature of iPhone launches, stating: “Honestly, how do you fake enthusiasm for this stuff? I haven’t cared about an iPhone launch in 10 years. The form, aesthetic, ecosystem, apps, nothing has changed”.

Meanwhile, another individual hinted at the possibility of upgrading if the iPhone showcased a significantly different design, commenting: “As long as they have a completely different design, I’ll get it…I’m still rocking my cracked 13 because I refuse to upgrade and buy the same damn phone”.

Despite some criticism, a commenter pointed out it’s almost impossible to keep everyone happy. They said: “People are really confusing nowadays. The 15 series had the same design as the old iPhones, and they complained. Now that Apple has changed the design, they’re still complaining!”

It’s worth adding that everything rumoured about the new iPhone is still speculation at the moment. Apple has yet to release much official information about the device.
