MERCER COUNTY, W.Va. – WVVA can confirm there was a fugitive on the run situation in Princeton, WV on March 13, 2025 around 2:30 in the afternoon.
Mercer County 911 tells WVVA multiple agencies converged on the vicinity of Courthouse Road and Old Bluefield Road including Princeton Police Department, Mercer County Sheriff’s Office and West Virginia State Police.
Limited details are known at this time in regards to the identity of the fugitive.
WVVA has not been able to independently confirm apprehension of the individual but can confirm there is no longer cause for a heavy police presence.
