The price of fame is not what it used to be.
“Real Housewives of New York City” baddie Brynn Whitfield compared the salary she makes on the hit reality TV franchise to the amount of money she spends on a popular food delivery platform.
“It’s my DoorDash money,” she explained during a new interview. “I spend more on DoorDash per week than what I made for a season.”
The 39-year-old entrepreneur has been a cast member of the rebooted Bravo series since 2022.

On Monday’s episode of Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast, the unmarried Whitfield wouldn’t elaborate on exact figures but did confess her DoorDash spending was “a lot.”
“I spend like $2,000 to $3,000 a week on DoorDash,” she said.
The bulk of her income comes from her career as a consultant, Whitfield said.
“I make as much as a lawyer does per hour,” she said, estimating that amount to be about $600 per hour.
Bravo has her background listed as a marketing and communications consultant but what Whitfield actually does for work loomed over this past season of the series, becoming a point of confusion among her fellow castmates.

“Consulting means that I have gotten to the place in my career where the clients that I had and the brands that I worked with and the agencies that I worked at were so well known that I’m able to step back, not be in the day-to-day office,” explained Whitfield, the co-founder and chief marketing officer of Hoppy, a New York-based video dating app.
“Basically, they call me for advice or to work on a deck or create a campaign idea, and they pay me very well for it.”
Whitfield described her expertise as “genius s–t” and said the work is “like literally 60 minutes of me at my best and just, like, taglines, creative ideas, something for the ad campaign.”
