OAK HILL, W.Va. – A Fayette County woman is facing several charges in connection to a domestic incident on Sunday.

Tiffany Dawn Angel, 41, of Oak Hill has been charged with domestic battery, obstruction and brandishing a deadly weapon, all misdemeanors.

Angel was arrested and charged after Deputy First Class T. Farley responded to a 911 call where the line remained silent.

According to the criminal complaint, when Farley arrived at the address he saw a female in the driveway wielding a knife and then fled into the house, where she discarded the knife before coming back out.

A male in the house who, the complaint said, has an active relationship with the female, told Farley Angel had allegedly become irate, brandished a knife and said she would stab him and “gut” herself.

Farley said Angel was instructed to remain on the porch but she tried to leave and was placed under arrest, then becoming belligerent, screaming obscenities and thrashing. Angel also allegedly tried to harm herself in the patrol car.

Angel remains incarcerated at Southern Regional Jail on a $3,500 cash/surety bond
