BEAVER, W.Va. The newest FEMA office has opened to assist anyone who was affected by the February floods.
The office is located at 1224 Airport Road in Beaver and is one of many disaster recovery centers in Southern West Virginia.
You can walk in, or you may call and set up an appointment.
Be aware that the deadline to sign up for disaster assistance is April 28th
FEMA spokesperson Kelly Magarity tells us there are several things you will definitely need when you contact FEMA
“So, they are going to need their Social Security Number, Th address of their disaster damaged home, description of the damage. Additionally, they are going to need some contact information. So, they are going to need their email address again their address, phone number”
