KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Human remains were found Tuesday in the Charleston area, the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said.
The discovery was made over a hillside along Walnut Gap Road, just outside of Charleston city limits.
Walnut Gap Road is closed between Dry Branch Road and Hope Lane. Drivers are asked to avoid that area.
Deputies say the case is believed to be an isolated incident.
