The WNBA general managers made their choices. One specific prospect didn’t get called.

TCU center Sedona Prince went undrafted in Monday’s WNBA Draft after being the subject of several sexual assault allegations dating back to 2019.

The most recent incident — an alleged altercation with a former girlfriend — occurred last month, per Washington Post, and is one of four public allegations against the 6-7 prospect. Prince has never been charged with a crime.

Through her attorney, Prince has denied all allegations made against her.

“Sedona has not been charged with a crime or found guilty of any wrongdoing,” Prince’s attorney, A. Boone Almanza, wrote in a statement to ESPN. “Rather she has been convicted on social media by people who have attempted to use their relationship with Sedona to attract followers and to build their influencer careers and settle grudges. To the extent she has made any mistakes different from other young people in their early dating life it was solely the decision to be on TikTok.”

The multiple allegations could’ve played a role in teams deciding not to select the center, who appeared on some mock draft as a first- or second-round pick.

Thirty-eight names were called and Prince didn’t hear hers after a final collegiate season in which she averaged 17.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game. She was also an All-Big 12 selection and was a two-time NCAA All-Region team selection.

Prince’s 6-7 frame made her a defensive anchor in college and she featured quick feet in the paint.

What also could’ve worked against Prince is her age. The 25-year-old would’ve been the oldest player drafted into the WNBA since 2023.

“I’d say the chips are stacked against her,” an anonymous WNBA GM told ESPN.
