Jeremy Clarkson has teased Clarkson’s Farm fans by hinting at the release date for the highly anticipated fourth season of his hit Amazon Prime Video series.

Since its first episode in 2021, Clarkson’s Farm has gained quite the following, becoming one of the biggest shows of the streaming era in the UK.

The docuseries follows Jeremy as he tries to manage his 1,000-acre farm, Diddly Squat, in Oxfordshire, alongside farm manager Kaleb Cooper, land agent Charlie Ireland, ‘head of security’ Gerald Cooper, and his partner Lisa Hogan.

Despite season three airing more than three months ago, it remains one of Prime Video’s top five most-watched shows, only surpassed by the newly released second season of The Rings of Power.

And now the former Top Gear host has hinted at how long fans will have to wait before the fourth season of Clarkson’s Farm finally greets them.

During an interview on Times Radio with Cathy Newman, Jeremy shared updates on the progress of filming for season four and dropped hints that a fifth season could also be on the way soon.

Clarkson said: ‘We’re likely to wrap up filming for season four in a couple of weeks. After editing and translating, it should be out around May. Then, we’ll kick off filming for season five shortly after.’

The latest quotes from Jeremy have come after he’d already inadvertently revealed that a fifth season would be coming despite only just releasing season three.

Taking a picture of his two pet dogs, named after Game of Thrones’ Sansa and Arya Stark, he joked that they were ‘pleading’ to be involved in season five.

He captioned the photo: ‘The dogs pleading with (Clarkson’s Farm producer) Andy Wilman to be in season five,’ alerting fans to the fact that yet more seasons are coming.

It didn’t take long for viewers to spot the hint, with Liam Conlan commenting ‘Season 5?! Amazing! Bring on season 4!’ and Gill Pile saying, ‘Is that a (not so) subtle way of announcing that Amazon have green-lit another series’.

Previously, producer Andy had said that neither him nor Jeremy were afraid to bring Clarkson’s Farm to an end if it no longer felt genuine or organic, despite being such a huge show.

‘I’ve got no feelings on whether there’s a five or not. Jeremy’s the same. He’s like: “When we’ve got nothing left to say, let’s walk away”,’ he explained to Deadline.

The upcoming fourth season, will see Jeremy exploring new ways to profit from his farm’s produce – which includes meat, vegetables, and also the on-site shop.

In addition to expanding and diversifying the farm’s produce, he’s just opened a pub nearby the farm this month – and it appears it’s a gastro-pub, with food made on the farm being served on the menu.

Never one to mince his words, Jeremy has already barred Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer ‘until something is done’ to improve conditions for British farmers.
