TAZEWELL, Va. – The annual Crab Orchard Corn Maze & Pisgah Pumpkin Patch will soon be open in Tazewell and the theme will be “Our Frontier Experience.”
This year’s maze will feature our Appalachian Mountains, a log cabin, a pioneer wagon and a dairy cow.
The maze includes 12 checkpoints with frontier designs with more than two miles of paths.
A tractor-pulled wagon will provide rides and people can try their luck at the pumkin’ chunker.
The maze is open on weekends from Sept. 13 to Oct. 27. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 5-12 and free for kids 4 and under.
All proceeds benefit Historic Crab Orchard Museum, which is located nearby on Rt. 460 just west of Tazewell.
