BLUEFIELD, W.Va. -For decades the rivalry between Bluefield and Graham has continued on.

Friends from the Virginia and West Virginia side hangout and see each other as family, but for one night they are enemies.

For one fan this is the first time the Lil’ Tony Foundation has been at the tailgate. After creating the foundation last year Lil’ Tony’s mom wanted to come to spread joy and positivity.

“The Beaver Graham rivalry has been going on since before I can remember. They call it the two Bluefields, you know, because you got Bluefield, West Virginia, just right over there and Bluefield, Virginia, right behind me here. So, it’s big because most all of the kids that play on both teams, their friends,” says Sharon Webster, Lil’ Tony’s mom.

On the other side of the field an annual class reunion happens each yar at this big event. The Graham High School Class of 1979 has been gathering for decades to catch up and watch the game that some used to play in.

“Gives all of our classmates a chance to get back together. Everybody knows it’s the weekend of the Grand Beaver game. So, you know, we don’t have to worry about when we’re doing it. So, we love getting together and the people come from Florida and all over. So, we have a good time,” said Chip Hurley, graduate of Graham 1979.
