A man was fighting for his life Saturday after he was struck and dragged by a truck and a yellow taxi outside Central Park, police said.

The harrowing scene unfolded on Central Park South near Sixth Ave. at about 6 a.m., cops said.

The victim, who is believed to be homeless, was crossing the street when he was struck by a truck, witnesses told police. He was dragged for several feet and, as he was sprawled out on the asphalt, he was struck by a passing taxi.

The back-to-back collisions took place outside the park and just down the block from the famed Plaza Hotel, officials said.

EMS rushed the man to New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition. The victim was unidentified as of Saturday.

The taxi driver remained at the scene. No charges were immediately filed.

The truck driver fled the scene and was being sought.
