Former Premier League defender Sol Bamba has died at the age of 39.
Bamba had spells at English clubs Leicester City, Leeds United, Cardiff City and Middlesbrough.
Turkish club Adanaspor, who employed Bamba as manager, posted on X: ‘Our Technical Director Souleymane Bamba fell ill before the Manisa Football Club match played yesterday.
‘He was taken to Manisa Celal Bayar University Hospital and unfortunately lost his battle for life there.
‘Our condolences to his family and our community.’
