A Scots model and clothing brand owner has teamed up with rapper K-Trap to ‘give back to the people of Glasgow’.

Jay Munro, 27, launched Last Lesson in 2023 after he realised Glasgow was missing a brand that ‘represented streetwear culture in Scotland.’

Now, following almost two years of success – with big names including Jason Derulo, Central Cee and Nafe Smallz sporting the small business – British multi-MOBO award-winning rapper K-Trap and Last Lesson have teamed up, giving away 100 limited edition products to loyal fans.

The event will be hosted in St Enoch Square on Sunday, August 1, at 4.30 pm, and will see hundreds of excited fans flock to get their hands on the rare items.

Speaking to the Daily Record about the event Jay said: “The upcoming event with K-Trap is a collaboration to give back to the city that I come from.

“I know a lot of people here love his music and we wanted to do something for the people, so we created 100 exclusive Last Lesson x TRAPO T-Shirts to give our and a few lucky winners will be invited to his show tonight.”

Touching on how the collaboration came about, the model and influencer said: “It was organic, his team got in touch and said that he feels the vibes and energy his Glasgow supporters have for him.

“They showed a lot of love when he came to town as part of his sold-out tour before and recently for his album pop-up signing a couple of months ago.

“When he announced the Glasgow show it sold out in two days and had to upgrade the venue. He wanted to do something exciting and out of the box on his return that was representing the culture.”

Speaking about the exciting collaboration, Jay from Glasgow said: “The event will give back to the supporters, the LastLesson brand originates from Glasgow and as K-Trap is from London we thought it would be great to merge the cultural worlds from Glasgow to London.”
