James Corden has given fans a glimpse behind the scenes of the last ever Gavin and Stacey episode, which will be airing as a Christmas special.
Earlier this year Ruth Jones and James announced stars of the beloved BBC comedy will be reprising their roles for one last time to give Gavin and Stacey a big old send-off.
Now, the Carpool Karaoke star, 46, has shared with fans a picture showing the side of Smithy’s work van with the advert sign reading: ‘Smithy’s: if your husband won’t do it – I will… Tilin, roofin, plasterin, & feng shui. Call me on 07700978978.’
Alongside the picture of iconic vehicle, James wrote: ‘Day 1. Here we go x.’
So it appears filming has commenced – and we’ve never been so excited for Christmas in September.
Details of the final Welsh hurrah are unclear, but that hasn’t stopped fans speculating about what it might include in the comments section of James’ update.

This comes after Rob Brydon – who plays Bryn – and Ruth, who of course portrays the brilliant Nessa, gave a small glimpse into production for the episode last week.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Welsh actor and comedian Rob, 59, uploaded a selfie of him and Ruth which quickly garnered over 40,000 likes.
In a nod to Nessa’s catchphrase, he captioned the pic: ‘Something’s occurring…
#gavinandstacey’.
