The City of Princeton and the Preservati Family Charitable Trust
Foundation have agreed on new public facilities at the Bee Street Complex.

PRINCETON, W.Va. – A community center and outdoor wave pool will be coming to the Bee Street Complex.

The City of Princeton announced that the City and the Preservati Family Charitable Trust Foundation agreed on the new facilities. The community center will have three basketball courts, multi-purpose rooms, and a full kitchen. The wave pool will be 8,000 square feet, and will also have a splash pad and a building with showers, locker rooms, and concessions.

According to the City of Princeton, the community center will cost around $5,933,630 and is partially funded by a joint congressional appropriation by Senators Manchin and Capito, plus an allocation by Governor Jim Justice.

The wave pool and building is expected to cost around $4,466,751 and is funded by the City of Princeton. Updates on construction timelines will be announced in the coming months, according to the City.
