BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – Animal Control in Bluefield is asking people to watch out for a group of dogs that allegedly attacked someone on Labor Day.

According to a Facebook post, the City of Bluefield said the attack happened near Ridgecrest Apartments, and the last reported sighting of the dogs was on September 3 on Spring Garden Drive.

A woman was walking her dog near the Ridgecrest Apartments when she was reportedly attacked by dogs, according to the City.

The dogs are described as a shepherd mix, a grey pit mix, and two brown pit or boxer mixes.

The City asks that anyone who sees the dogs contact Bluefield Animal Control immediately at 304-327 2401 ext. 2454. The City is also asking people in the aforementioned areas with security cameras to check their footage on September 2 and 3 from around 7:30 am to 8:30 am.
