From here on out, Jimmy Fallon will have Fridays off — much like the rest of his late night counterparts.

NBC’s “The Tonight Show,” which the “SNL” alum has hosted since 2014, will no longer air new episodes on Fridays, beginning immediately, the network confirmed to USA Today. Repeat episodes will be aired on Friday.

Sources said the move is part of larger cost-cutting measures at NBC, which included ditching the longtime house band on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” earlier this summer.

“The Tonight Show” now joins its competitors, including “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on CBS and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” who have long been on a four-day production schedule.

Earlier this year, Fallon, 49, signed a new deal to host “The Tonight Show” — which tapes live from Rockefeller Center — through 2028.

“For nearly 30 years, Jimmy Fallon has brought laughter into the homes of millions and charmed audiences from the stages of 30 Rock,” NBCUniversal Media Group chairman Mark Lazarus said when announcing the renewal. “It’s been a privilege to witness Jimmy at the helm of the ‘The Tonight Show’ and we’re thrilled to see what innovations he and the incredible staff will deliver in the years to come at the network.”
