Police were called to a report of a concern for a child in Kilmarnock town centre yesterday afternoon.
Cops were dispatched to St Marnock Place just before 1pm with several members of the force spotted around a blue Nissan Qashqai.
However, police officials have confirmed that there were no injuries reported and that “appropriate advice” was given.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.50pm on Friday, September 6, 2024, we were called to a report of a concern for a child in the Waterside Street area of Kilmarnock.
“Officers attended and there were no injuries. Appropriate advice was given.”
