AUSTIN, Texas — A deadly crash in southwest Austin is under investigation, according to police.
Austin police reported the crash just before 9 a.m. Tuesday on State Highway 71 near the Oak Hill area.
Police say the crash has both east and westbound lanes shut down with traffic being routed to Highway 290, Oak Meadow Drive and Scenic Brook Drive.
Details on what led up to the crash are not available at this time. Police say to expect delays if you’re in the area and find alternate routes.
