A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a report of inappropriate behaviour in Troon.
The alleged incident took place on a path between Annick Place and North Drive in Troon around 8pm on Wednesday, September 18.
The man is expected to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court later today (Friday, September 20).
Sergeant Fraser Chisholm, from Troon Police Station, said: “We would like to thank the local community for their assistance with our enquiries.”
