A Wishaw photographer has captured some incredible autumn colours and amazing local wildlife with her latest snaps.

Angie Reynolds, who was awarded third place in the Environmental Category of this year’s Scottish Nature Photography Awards, showed off some of the incredible shots taken in the past few months across Lanarkshire.

Angie said: I’ve managed to capture photos of Bohemian Waxwings as we had an irruption of waxwings last autumn as they came over from Scandinavia because of poor berry crops there.

“Those were taken in Netherton and its quite unusual to have them in the area.

“The other photos are mainly misty mornings or autumn colours, all taken in Lanarkshire in the autumn.”
