And if you really want to get into the spirit, picking up a couple of new home decor pieces can transform your home into a cosy autumn haven. You don’t need to break the bank to do this either, thanks to budget supermarket Aldi, who have put an autumnal spin on a best-selling product that fans are ‘running’ to buy.
The affordable retailer is famed for its Special Buys, which change week-on-week when new products hit the shelves – and they’re often a lot cheaper than you’d get them in other stores.
Everything from garden tools to beauty products can land in the Special Buys section, and a good way to keep up is via the dedicated Instagram account, which showcases the new finds that you can pick up instore.
And a recent post showcased Aldi’s best-selling giant candles, priced at £19.99, that are now available in two gorgeous autumnal scents.
In the caption, Aldi said: “Calling all Pumpkin Spice super fans! Our huge Hurricane Candles have had an Autumn upgrade. Will you be grabbing Pumpkin Spice or Fallen Leaves?”
The supermarket had reposted a video from @tabbybellhome, who said she ‘couldn’t believe’ she’d managed to spot the giant candle whilst doing her weekly shop – and that it cost under £20 too. In the clip, captions across the screen read: “Your sign to get this XL pumpkin candle from Aldi for cosy days.”
In the video’s comments, keen shoppers were desperate to head to their local store in the hopes of picking one up. One person said: “I think I need to go and hunt for this.”
Another raved: “I got mine on Thursday fallen leaves I’m obsessed.”
Someone else commented: “Managed to get Pumpkin Spice and Fallen Leaves. I can’t decide which is my favourite.”
