A man has been arrested and charged with an alleged assault of a cyclist in Edinburgh.
Officers from Police Scotland were called High School Wynd, at the junction with Cowgate, on Friday, September 20, after an altercation between a 34-year-old cyclist and a 37-year-old man.
Following the incident the cyclist was taken to hospital in the capital for checks. The man, 37, is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, September 23, 2024.
A Police Scotland statement read: “A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the alleged assault of a 34-year-old male cyclist on High School Wynd, Edinburgh, on Friday, 20 September 2024.
“He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 23 September 2024.”
