A Scots mum says her son is ‘afraid to leave the house’ after being ‘terrorised’ by a gang of yobs.

The woman captured footage of two youths approaching a block of flats near Pilton on Saturday, September 21, before appearing to throw two stones at her son’s windows.

She says such incidents are a regular occurrence and have left her son scared to leave the house on his own having suffered an attack in the past which has left him with PTSD, reports Edinburgh Live.

The mum says these incidents have prompted the family to install a camera on the outside of the flat, but it is understood the incident, along with others, have not been reported to the police.

The woman, speaking anonymously, said: “This happens daily and my son is preparing to become a dad for the first time.”

The mum claims her son was attacked recently after a ‘misunderstanding’ with neighbours, which has led to him being targeted.

She continued: “My son has severe PTSD and will not leave the house at all unless myself or his older brother goes to get him in our cars. Kids congregate every night and during the day. They just do not stop.”
