The quick hazelnut-flavoured cookies, drizzled with succulent chocolate, are guaranteed crowd-pleasers.

BBC Food has taken to social media to share an easy-to-follow guide on how to create these treats, saying: “These egg-free cookies couldn’t be easier – you only need four ingredients and they cook in 10 minutes in the air fryer! Perfect for when you’re in desperate need of a sweet treat.”

To make this treat, which serves six, here’s everything you need to know.

10-minute air fryer cookies

Ingredients

  • 100g/3½oz chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 75g/2¾oz plain flour
  • 3 tbsp full-fat milk
  • 40g/1½oz chocolate, melted, to decorate

Method

  1. Start by preheating your air fryer to 180C. In a bowl, combine the chocolate spread, flour and milk.
  2. Stir until well mixed, then use your hands to form a firm dough.
  3. Next, divide the dough into six equal portions and shape each one into a cookie. Place a sheet of baking paper in the basket of the air fryer and arrange the cookies on top, ensuring there’s a bit of space between each one.
  4. Cook the cookies in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes. Once done, carefully remove them from the fryer, drizzle with melted chocolate, and allow to cool before serving.

If you don’t have an air fryer, these cookies can also be baked in a conventional oven for 12-14 minutes at 200/180C Fan.
