WELCH, W.Va. – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating a missing man and will start ground searches Tuesday.
Mitch Harvey Golden, 39, of Oceana was reported missing early Saturday morning at 1:27 a.m. after last being seen Friday at 7 p.m.
McDowell County Sheriff James Muncy said Golden was last seen near Leftwich Road in Crumpler (Northfork Hollow).
Muncy said organized searches by the Sheriff’s Department with assistance from the state Department of Natural Resources and local fire departments will begin Tuesday morning at 7 a.m.
