CORAL GABLES, Fla. (TMX) – A Florida woman was rescued Monday after crashing her Porsche SUV through the third-floor wall of a parking garage and into a tree, fire officials said.

Miami Fire Rescue and the Coral Gables Fire Department shared a joint post on Instagram on Monday showing video of the rescue operation after they responded to the parking facility at 1500 San Remo Drive in Coral Gables at around 9:15 a.m. Monday.

The driver, who was not named, was trapped inside the vehicle for 20 to 30 minutes after driving through a concrete barrier and the exterior wall of the parking garage.

“It looked like the lady pressed the accelerator by mistake and went through the wall,” Coral Gables Fire Rescue Chief Xavier Jones told CBS News. “She got very lucky that when the car went through the wall, it landed in a tree. We are able to rescue her in 20 to 30 minutes.”

Photos shared by Coral Gables Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 1210 show the car hanging partially out of the garage, with its front end supported by a tree. Rescuers used harnesses to lower a firefighter down to the suspended Porsche to extract the driver.

The woman was transported to a hospital but was uninjured. A crane was then used to remove the SUV from the garage.

“Grateful for the incredible work today by our @coralgablesfire along with teams from @miamifirerescue and @miamidadefirerescue in rescuing a driver whose car crashed through a parking garage barrier and onto a tree,” Coral Gables City Commissioner Ariel Fernandez wrote on Instagram. “Proud of our first responders!”
