My Mum, Your Dad stars Jenny and Danny have sparked split concerns following an emotional exchange just days ahead of the season finale.

Love blossomed for 51-yea- old Jenny and 49-yea- old Danny as they arrived at the scenic retreat on the show’s first day, with their bond strengthening steadily throughout the series.

As the ITV dating phenomenon for single parents nears its climax, the fandom is abuzz with speculation that this particular pairing won’t last the test of time.

Tension escalated during a poignant scene in a recent instalment when Jenny chose to bare her soul. Positioned on a bed, she turned towards Danny and began, “I’ll be honest with you and it’s my own insecurities, totally not you because you’ve made me feel really special the past couple of days but with that I’m just feeling quite apprehensive about feeling like this.”

In an intimate gesture, Danny grasped Jenny’s hand while she tearfully opened up. Addressing the viewers later, Jenny, visibly moved, admitted: “He’s the best man in the world and I feel like he’s got a good heart and good soul but I just feel the practicalities of everything doesn’t make it workable.”, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The duo’s recent visit on ITV’s This Morning also caused a stir amongst the audience. During the segment, host Ben Shephard probed the couple alongside co-host Cat Deeley about the viability of their on-screen romance.

Jenny noticeably inhaled as Danny playfully hinted, “You’ve got to keep watching haven’t we? “. Observing their body language, Ben quickly commented: “They’ve separated a little bit, I can’t quite work it out.”

Trying to keep the secrets under wraps, Danny tantalised with: “”The one spoiler I’ll give is that absolutely all of us have come out completely and utterly best friends and will be lifelong friends. “”.

One viewer cynically noted, “‘It was all filmed so long ago’ – what better way to say that you’re already distancing yourself from the show and that you’re not together and that this is a contractually obligated interview.”

Another chimed in, “They cannot stand each other. But obviously contractually obliged by ITV to appear on shows like #thismorning to sell this b****cks.”

My Mum, Your Dad airs on ITV and ITVX
