Two teenage boys were shot on a Brooklyn street Wednesday afternoon near a junior high school.
Cops responded to a 911 call at Ave. J and 82nd St. next to I.S. 68 Isaac Bildersee Junior High School in Canarsie around 3:13 p.m. They found a 17-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds to the leg and torso, and another youth, also 17, shot twice in the leg.
Both boys were reported to be in stable condition. EMS transported the more seriously wounded of the pair to Brookdale Hospital. The other, with gunshot wounds to the leg only, was transported by private means to Kings County Hospital.
There were no reported arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
It was unclear if the school went into lockdown after the shooting.
