BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The McDowell County Commission on Aging announced that the Meals on Wheels Program has suspended all routes for Sept. 26.

The reason for the suspension, according to the McDowell County Commission on Aging, is because of the road conditions and the flood watch.

Congregate dining at the Welch and Bradshaw Center are open at Noon for people who wish to drive in, although the Commission wants to remind all seniors to use caution if they are on the road.
