(CNN) – Things are getting a little frosty between Wendy’s and McDonald’s.
Wendy’s is taking shots at the Golden Arches by advertising its $1 Frosty as the go-to sweet treat while the “other guys” struggle with broken ice cream machines.
Without mentioning McDonald’s by name, Wendy’s added its locations to a so-called McBroken map that tracks the chain’s malfunctioning ice cream machines.
The map was created by a customer frustrated by McDonald’s chronic issue of broken machines, which can be out of commission for hours at a time.
Wendy’s $1 Frostys and its collaboration with McBroken runs until Sept. 30.
