Prince Harry was caught on camera swearing during a surprise appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s US chat show, where he took part in a haunted maze.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, was filmed shouting, “Jesus, f***,” as he got a fright from a zombie while joining Jimmy Fallon on his late-night programme during his solo trip to New York.

Instead of the usual sit-down interview, Harry participated in a skit testing a Halloween experience named Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares at the Rockefeller Centre.

The royal was so taken aback by the haunted section towards the end of the eerie walk that he let out a curse. In a humorous twist, an actress playing a zombie didn’t recognise Harry according to reports in the Mirror.

After he passed her, she was seen asking a colleague, “Who was that?”. At another point, Harry quipped that one of the other actors resembled Canadian singer Michael Buble. “Is that Michael Buble? Good job, buddy,” Harry commented.

At the conclusion of the walk, Harry feigned a punch after being startled by an actor who appeared behind him.

“Step into a haunted maze experience like no other with Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares! For a limited time, Rockefeller Center is home to ten spine-chilling rooms that bring Jimmy’s nightmares to life,” reads the description on the maze’s website.

“As you venture through each meticulously crafted area, prepare to encounter an array of sinister characters – run from a deranged and diabolical mad scientist, malfunctioning murder robots, a terrifying werewolf, and other nightmarish creatures. Each room is more horrifying than the last, with unnerving surprises lurking around every corner.”

The Jimmy Fallon Show, based out of New York City, saw Harry in attendance this past week as he busied himself with various engagements connected to his charitable endeavours like Travalyst and the Archewell Foundation’s Parents Network.

During his time in the spotlight, Prince Harry confessed that he felt the need to “up his game” after first meeting Meghan Markle who captivated him at first sight.

The royal romance began in a London pub back in July 2016, with Harry infamously turning up late. Fast forward 18 months and the engagement was announced, leading to Harry acknowledging his efforts to win over Meghan.

Reflecting on their budding relationship during their engagement interview, Harry openly shared his initial thoughts about Meghan proclaiming: “I really have to up my game here.”

Further into the interview, he remarked: “I’d never watched Suits, I’d never heard of Meghan before. I was beautifully surprised when I walked into that room and saw her. There she was sitting there. I was like, ‘Okay, well, I really have to up my game here. Sit down and make sure I have a good chat’.”
